Brian Levine (UMass Amherst)The ubiquity of computers has tremendous potential for new networking opportunities, but it also raises formidable security threats. A grand challenge we face is the protection of our privacy while simultaneously increasing ubiquitous interactions using a network of peers. This tension is complicated by the needs of law enforcement to investigate crimes involving digital evidence. My main research topics involve these challenges:
