Advanced Information Assurance


This graduate-level course provides an overview of the fundamentals of and the latest research in information assurance. One of the main goals is to prepare the aspiring graduate student for successful research in computer security. The class will draw on material from computer security, computer systems, cryptography, and attacks/defenses. Students will be evaluated based on a small-team project, class participation including a short presentation, five short quizzes, and three homework/lab assignments.

Prerequisite: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or CS415.
